January Homeschool: Mid-Morning

Class Description

These 1 hour sessions cover a wide variety of art, including hand-built pottery (clay), printmaking, painting, drawing, and more! Each class follows an interdisciplinary lesson plan based on homeschool curriculum. These lessons build on eachother, allowing for skill development over time. PROJECT FOCUS: This month, we’ll continue exploring the Elements of Design with a focus on balance. Our main projects will be two bright, colorful paper sculptures inspired by artist Alexander Calder. These hands-on STEM projects encourage creativity and simple problem-solving as students experiment with balance, movement, and bold colors while creating sculptures. TIME: Every Friday, 10:30AM-11:30AM COST: $40 ($10 per session) - Sibling Discount: $32 ($8 per session) for additional children enrolled. ___________________________________________________________________________ This is a DROP-OFF session. Parents are only permitted to join us for class on a pre-approved basis. If you would like to stay with your child during class, please reach out to us prior to arriving for class. **REGISTRATION IS BY THE MONTH** If you are unable to attend two or more sessions in a month, we advise waiting for the next month to enroll, as projects often take more than one class to complete. We do not offer partial enrollment or partial refunds if you miss a class, but we will do our best to catch your child up on what they missed.
