Join us for our monthly evening clay class for adults!
Class Description
Adults need art exploration, too! This session is perfect for a date night, girls' night out, or any artist looking to discover pottery. All levels of pottery experience are welcome, from beginner to advanced! During this two-hour session, you will receive 15-20 minutes of instruction that teach you the basics of handbuilding with clay. You are free to create whatever your heart desires (aside from some size restrictions). You will have two instructors available to help you create your pieces. This is enough to create a cup, bowl, plate, or small sculpture. - Colored underglaze to add color to your unfired pieces. - Final glaze: After the first firing, we will add a clear glossy glaze to your piece that will increase its durability and make it food-safe. *BYOB! Fridge space is limited* **You will not receive your piece at the end of class. Pieces take roughly two weeks to dry and fire. You will be required to return to the studio to pick up your final piece. THIS IS NOT A WHEEL-THROWING CLASS**
